Portrait Session Fees: Weekday session for an individual portrait: $250.00. If you would like to add additional people for a group portrait, please add $25.00 for each additional person. Your session fee is due when you book your appointment.
Professional Head Shots: I specialize in professional head shots for artists, writers, musicians and legal and medical practices. Group rates are available.
Travel Fees: There is no charge for travel to locations within a 30 mile radius of Durham, N.C.. Please contact me for additional rates for travel to surrounding areas outside of the 30 mile radius. For locations that are over 100 miles from Durham travel fees begin at $75.00 plus hotel fees.
Digital Negatives: I am a huge believer that portraits should be displayed in your home. I know how happy and proud it has made me feel, all my life, to walk into a room and to see photographs of myself that people I love have framed and placed prominently on a piano, on a wall or on a chest of drawers. Those images anchor me. They remind me that I am part of something bigger than myself. They remind me that I am important to someone.
Images on a computer screen are there for you when you sign on and seek them, only then. They exist in the same place as the Kardashians. They will never stop you in your tracks when you walk into a room.
I don't want your images to languish in a drawer or on a computer screen. Even worse, I hate the thought of precious memories being stored in a digital form that will degrade or become obsolete over time. Today's digital media will go the way of Video tapes.
Online Proofing: I offer online proofing and ordering so that you can view your proofs at a time that is convenient for you. Within two-three weeks of your session, I will post a proof book of all of the successful images obtained from your portrait session. I will send you a unique user name and password that you can share with friends and family members who might want to view and/or purchase portraits.
All orders should be placed within one month of receiving proofs. Online galleries expire after one month and are removed from the website. There is a $50.00 fee for reposting images.
Shipping: I am happy to ship your portraits. The cost will depend upon the size of the package and the destination, but the cost of shipping, insurance and packaging is typically $12.00 for items shipped to destinations in the United States.

All images are protected by federal copyright laws. Illegal reproduction is strictly prohibited. Mary Moore McLean retains the rights to all images and reserves the right to use all images in competition, in advertising, for publication and for display.
