Frequently Asked Questions
What is your style of photography?
Years of practice have provided me with a patient and prepared eye that enables me to recognize and capture images as you would remember them if only you could seize that perfect instant.
I am known for putting people at ease and pride myself on being able to provide my clients with a variety of images that are timeless, elegant, spontaneous and fresh.
At times during a photo shoot, I work as a photojournalist recording life as it unfolds, but most of my portraits are a collaboration between the artist and the person being photographed. I always have fun during a photo shoot and even the most reluctant models tell me that they had fun, too.
What is your working method?
Most work is done on location at a site of your choosing. When you book a session, we will discuss possible locations. The majority of my portraits incorporate elements of the environment and are shot using available light. Studio sessions are available for formal portraits, head shots and for anyone who prefers the studio. If you choose, I can create a studio atmosphere in your home or office.
I am available to guide you every step of the way. From questions about clothing to finding your best angle to choosing the best images, I am here to help you.
Tell me a little bit about yourself....
Typical day:
I am a workaholic......but in a GOOD way. My advice to everyone is to find something that you love to do so much that it turns you into a workaholic. I can't wait to get up in the morning and I have to make myself go to bed at night.
Hopes and Dreams:
To reflect the beauty that I see in the world around me. I want to create images that will make you stop in your tracks....images that will remind you, every day, of the people you love the most.........of the moments that you don't want to forget. The comment that I hear most from clients is, "they take my breath away..." That's what I want to do. I want to take your breath away. I want my images to take your breath away the first time that you see them, and I want them to make you happy when you come home, every day, for the rest of your life.
People. Most people float through life never knowing how beautiful they are. Now, more than ever, we are bombarded with images of ourselves, but most of us have never been captured in the right light, at the right angle, by the right person. That is what I want to do for you.
